Query in relation to a default not showing on credit report

Hi Folks,
I have a query I hope that you can advise with.
I commenced my self-managed DMP journey in August 2024.
I had nine creditors and all but one have defaulted. Some payment arrangements have commenced with the companies that have made contact. In my case, Lowell have bought two of my accounts and Cabot has bought one account. Barclaycard appear to be keeping hold of the account.
The most recent account that Lowell have taken over is a Virgin Money credit card.
I contacted Virgin who stated that the account had defaulted in April 2025.
I have had no letter or other contact from Virgin to say that the debt had been sold.
I cannot, however, see that it is defaulted. I have checked Credit Karma (Transunion) and Clear Score (Equifax) and the default is not visible.
There is reference on Clear Score to a Virgin Money account being removed from my credit report and a Lowell account having been added to my credit report. So that appears to be indicative of a default, I think?
Experian keep everything hidden unless you pay them for their monthly account. I have requested access to the Statutory Credit Report which can take about a week for a ‘passkey’ to be delivered to me.
Lowell told me on the phone that the Virgin account had defaulted in April.
Based on what Lowell and Virgin both said on the phone, I am tempted to just start the payment plan, but I don’t want to get caught in an AP situation.
I was wondering whether after three months (from April until July) the default ought to be showing on the credit report?
Thank you for your constructive advice.
