SIPPs - eventual access to Private equity and Private credit?

This will only be of interest to a very small ( informed) cohort on this forum who may eventually wish to explore the possibilities when these become approved for SIPP investors.
For those who have an interest in Private markets, they have effectively been closed to anyone who did not qualify as Ultra High Net Worth. Needless to say one should also ideally qualify as a sophisticated investor to understand what you are getting into.
I have come across a specialist platform that provides access to some of the key players in the Private market space and at very accessible minimum investment levels. The company is the Wealth Club - see link below -

New to me but maybe not others, to be noted the business was founded by ex Hargreave Lansdown executives almost 10 years ago.
I was interested to learn the company is working toward becoming the first specialist investment platform to offer the opportunity to invest in Private Markets via SIPPs. My own interest is the burgeoning Private credit market, where more and more businesses are foregoing issuing quoted loan stock, in favour of Private credit.
The Chancellor is busily ( wrongly or rightly) trying to encourage DC institutional pension schemes to devote more of their funds to Private Markets. I for one, will welcome the chance to do so entirely as a matter of personal choice in my own SIPP.

I'm just waiting for the US private credit markets to blow up. A totally unregulated jungle you could say. The next P2P scandal. Creaming off fees to manage other people's money at their risk is not wealth producing.0

There are funds investing in private equity (HVPE / NBPE and others) that can be used in a SIPP now. It's not exactly a lock out for ordinary investors

I rather like investment trusts for private equity investments. Think the closed ended structure works well limited liquidity, and the collective nature helps with the information imbalance I'd have as a private investor2

Not sure why it's suggested that PE isn't available to private investors in a SIPP. I have PE funds (investment trusts) in both my ISA and SIPP.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.2
