Claim to have been going since 2014 but their website has only been indexed from 2021. Their listed address doesnt exist but instead of being "unit 23" its "unit 22-23" and most would abbreviate to the first number if they can't be bothered with the range. Unfortunately there are no recent photos of this site but a few months before their website being indexed the building is branded Drumsticks Products Co (musical instruments not chicken)
They have no T&Cs on the main site, the link goes to a return policy, and they have no privacy policy. Despite no terms you have to click a link to agree to the terms before you can proceed. Later in the process some terms do appear which has the classic "legal jurisdiction = UK" which is a common sign of someone overseas who doesnt know the UK isnt a single jurisdiction but 3.
If you look at "about us" via WayBack Machine they claim different mergers with different companies in different versions of their websites. In 2021 they claimed to be Weilai Ltd however this was only formed in 2019 not the 2014 they claim. This company is registered as making IT equipement, has a single employee and claims to have £5k in the bank but only files small business accounts but their website says they they are one of the largest furniture retailers in the uk? Furniture Village, which I would say is one of the largest furniture retailers by comparison has £40.6m cash in the bank.2 -
I just went to their showroom today. It seems ok. But I will compare and have a look around. If I buy something, I will keep you update.-1
