The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B and dinner, in a Beech Signature Suite at the Burnham Beeches Hotel & Spa. Reopened in March after a top-to-bottom refit, the hotel is based around a Georgian mansion and stands in ten acres of lawns and gardens. To the north lies Burnham Beeches Nature Reserve, as featured in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, while Thames Valley walks beckon at nearby Cliveden House.
The hotel has 80 bedrooms and suites – some decorated in vibrant, forest-flavoured style and others with a cooler, dreamier look. Cocktails are served at the Verdure Lounge Bar and dinner at the informal Brasserie 1727.
