CRS - 2nd letter for unknown account

Hi all,
Just popping back on as I've had a second letter through from this company. They sent one a few months ago alleging that I owe EE just shy of £100. It's a pretty vague letter with a client reference, a "start date" and "end date", alleged debt and some spiel about understanding people's situations are unique etc. In short, I don't. I'm a current customer of EE with two pay monthly phones/plans and broadband. There's nothing on my Clearscore history suggesting anything with EE has defaulted or is unsettled. I ignored the first letter but as another has come through today so I'd like to get in touch with them to send a 'prove it' email.
When navigating the website to find an email, best I can find is a link that takes you to the login portal. I don't want to log in. I'm worried that doing that itself would acknowledge a debt. Is this the case? I don't want to log in, ring or send letters, ideally I just want to email. I'm in the middle of working quite hard to get my history clean and debt free, so just want to make sure that I deal with this the right way.
Cheers

Acknowledging a debt only affects the limitation period for that debt, the countdown to it becoming statute barred.
Send a prove-it letter instead, they write to you, you write back.
I can pretty much predict the response you will get, they will ask you to provide personal details for data protection purposes, so unless you are prepared to do that, then just ignore it, its likely a fishing trip anyway.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
