Retired in NHS pension and needing 1mire year for full state pension

Hi everyone,
I know, to count as a full year towards the state pension I'd need to earn something like £3500.
While I am very happily retired and have no intention to work again, I have a tiny little job, earning me maybe £300 a year.
So, my question is, whether my £12k NHS pension could count as an contributing income towards the state pension?
(Or will I need to buy a full year before I reach state pension age? )
Thanks for any comments you might have.

You’d need to earn £6500 to gain a qualifying year. You don’t pay NI on pension income so no you cannot use that.0

If you are, you might be able to buy class 2 NI at a cost of £3.45 per week i.e. £3.45 x 52 weeks = £179.40p
Info here:

If your not self-employed, you might want to think about it (perhaps just for one year)
Or you could think about buying class 3 NI at a cost of £17.75 per week (£923 annually)
I have a tendency to mute most posts so if your expecting me to respond you might be waiting along time!0
