As for car use will they provide a car ?  My daughter's LA employer will no longer pay mileage, they have a fleet of cars so the choice is one of them or pay yourself and in her case the mileage and inconvenience of the location of the fleet cars makes it easier to use her own at her cost.  It was a big deal a few years back when the question was why are you paying £x,000 pa in car mileage when you have an underused fleet of pool vehicles.
No, no pool cars, just use of an oyster. I've worked somewhere with pool vehicles before and it was fantastic, I used them all the time.

Apologies I haven't had a chance to check this thread for a while. I've had very little progress from my employer, they've provided me with use of a lockable filing cabinet in the office but nothing else currently. No update on a re-referral back to OH. No update on why car mileage was removed without consultation. I've had a meeting with my manager who said they would action things however they have also been off sick for the last week so that hasn't helped.

I've been told I should go to Access to Work for a chair and any other equipment, however A2W's own website says they won't pay for reasonable adjustments that your employer should make, so I have asked for an answer as to whether my request is classed as unreasonable and have had no answer.

As a side note I've also just been granted a Blue Badge by my local council (not the same authority I work for), I let them know this out of courtesy, I suppose as extra "evidence" as it were.

I had a call with my union rep, who said I should make a complaint due to failure to implement reasonable adjustments. Given that I made this post a couple of weeks ago and very little has happened, should I go down this route? I really don't want bad blood between myself and my employer but nothing is moving. I'm not interested in compensation or anything like that, I just want this resolved. To be quite honest I could do without the grief of it all but I won't drop this as it's a really poor way to treat any employee who needs additional support.
