Go North East, Sunderland. Should I apply?

Hi,
I was hoping some people on here may have some experience in working as a bus driver and hopefully in my local area of Sunderland, North East.
I've seen that they are recruiting and offering more money and hour's than I'm currently on. I've read some reviews on Indeed, but it's from amazing to terrible. I was hoping for an honest opinion on this as I am tempted.
I love driving, I am a people person and can cope with the concentration that is required in the role. I understand the downsides such as drunk idiots, daft teenages with an attitude and some people just being mean in general. I currently work retail, so I' used to that, but struggling to get by finacially due to cut hours. Any advice would be amazing.
Thanks

I don't know what your retail hours are like but expect early and late shifts, covering 7 days PW. That's just based on when buses are supposed to run in a large city ...Signature removed for peace of mind1

You only seem to be concerned by your working hours.
Bus es run from early morning to late at night on a shift basis.
Does that suit you better than your retail hours?0 -

ThanksGoogling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1 -
If you get the job you will presumably first have to be trained to drive the buses. Even if you decide the job isn't for you after training, you will have gained a new skill. Just check that you won't have to pay back the training costs if you decide to leave either during training or for a period afterwards.3
