PCP CAR FINANCE SET UP WITH WRONG MILEAGE
Options
I bought a car from Kia dealership using a 2-year PCP Finance with Hyundai Finance when it had 22,000 miles and was verbally quoted a monthly repayment amount which I agreed and few days later signed the contract, where the finance finishes October 2025.
I recently changed job which my nearer where I live and no longer need this car. So I started working out what to do with car and after speaking with the Finance company they notified me that the mileage at the start of the contract is 22 miles and not 22,000 miles. I checked the contract again and indeed it says 22 miles and not the 22,000 miles. I am not sure how I missed it (maybe I thought it was 22k miles) so I contacted the dealership I bought it from they confirmed that the mileage was indeed 22,000 miles at the start of the finance agreement.
I notified the dealership and the finance company of the discrepancy but dealership no longer replies. Please can someone advise where am I standing at this point?

Nothing to do with dealership at this point, needs to be sorted out with the finance company.0

How old was the car when you bought it?
Just for argument sake say it was 1 or 2 years old - if you complain to the finance company and it goes as far as the ombudsman - I think he would on the balance of probability take your side. No car would only do 22 miles for 1 or 2 years.0
