    Depends if the WS date is before the date by which they have to pay the hearing fee.

    It's usually after the hearing fee deadline, so say 16 days or so before the hearing date meaning a couple of days before the WS deadline

    Chances are that they ( CEL ) won't even pay the hearing fee, or will discontinue, so why bother with a WS if there is no need. ? You only do so if you have to. !

    Given that you haven't said which deadline is first, we can't answer that!

    But your WS deadline is set in stone and is on that Hearing Order.

    They will either force it to hearing, or not, there is no middle ground, its put up or shut up and we have already seen a CEL WS once today so presumably that one is likely going to a hearing

    Therefore, you have 3 deadline dates to consider, payment, WS, Hearing

    I suggest that you edit your thread title to something more suitable like

    CEL in house claim at WS stage

    Not with a virtual hearing. There is no chat first, just the Usher admitting people to the call once the judge is ready.

    The claimant has discontinued the claim,. Form N279 sent to me. Court date had already been set. Do i need to do anything?
