i am after a new leather suite (recliners) been looking at argos as they have some on sale, problem is, you are buying something on view by picture only,
- my concern is what if you buy this and its not comfortable and the quality is ,you know when you usually buy a sofa from a big sofa retailer, you sit on it have a feel of it and then make your decision
what is the refund and return policy ?? and has anybody done a return on an item like this ??
has anbody got this suite
Quinn Large and Regular Reclining Sofa Suite - Chocolate.

Hello, just posted this on the grabbit post hwre it is all kicking off, thought i'd track down your other posting and repeat my post
Personally I would go for these from Walmsleys

only £50 more and real leather.
I have bought numerous bits of furniture from them, and they have always been good. They also have shop floors where you can sit on the sofas before hand..0 -
My advice is NO...stick to a specialist home furnishings store. My mum brought some sofas there a couple of years ago...didn't look anything like the packet and you wanna see the state of them no...if you do get it do so with caution!! :eek:0

About 4 years ago we were tempted by the great Argos buy one get one free on Sofas. They were awful build quality and after six months they had fallen apart. I was in Argos Friday night and they had some ex display ones there so I had a quick sit while I was waiting and the looked pretty but bearing in mind they have only been in shop for 6 months with a NO SITTING sign on them they were sagging awfully.
There are areas you can save money but a sofa gets st on a LOT and quality is going to save you money long term. If your on a budget do a search on ebay using the distance search so you can see whats local to you.
People switch sofas when they move house, redecorate, inherit furniture etc, and a lot of the stuff there has loads of life left in it. Saw a current John Lewis 3 piece set thats £2800 in the sale go for £840 last week and it was only a year old with receipts to prove it.
Appreciate thats still a lot of money but it gives you an idea of the savings.0 -
hi
we bought one in argos , but did not like it, they picked it up ok after 2 weeks, you have 30 days to return them if you change your mine, we did look at ones in Walmsleys
but in the end got one in homebase as they had them on display, richmond leather suite, sprung seating , had them now for 4 months and very happy with them0
