Hi guys.
Started a new role 18 months ago, and my contract specifies the below.

I’ve not been told I’ve passed probation but also haven’t been told it’s been extended, until two weeks ago where I questioned why I wasn’t able to take part in the cycle to work scheme (as I was still in my probation period). I now have a meeting this afternoon at the end of the day to discuss this.
Where do I stand here? I’m preparing for the worst, considering I’ve just got paid. Should I be worried? What can I do to protect myself

Might just be an oversight and they have only just realised they haven’t signed it off so are going through the motions.I am 10 years into my my job but technically still on probation for that reason. I’ve never bothered about it because passing probation doesn’t give me any other benefits, and they can’t just sack me after 10 years anyway.Have you not been having supervision throughout this time because if they weren’t happy with your performance, then you would already know about it.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
Everywhere I’ve worked the probationary policy makes clear that the employee should be given regular feedback via one to one’s etc. throughout the probationary period. If you haven’t been told of any performance issues I really wouldn’t worry. It would be very poor indeed to suddenly spring something on you and you’d have a very good case to challenge.1

Thanks both! That is reassuring, I think because my sales has been quiet last month and I made an admin error my nerves has been all over the place. At least I know I have a month’s notice and not a week with the contract 😃0

However, beyond any contractual benefits "passing" may bring, probation has very little meaning in employment law.
Given that any employee with less than two years service can be dismissed for no reason at all (or any reason that doesn't amount to unlawful discrimination) arguably all employees are on probation for two years!0 -

Thank you for the comments - just to update you, I’ve had my targets increased and will have to achieve that in the next four weeks. If not increased then I will be fired so I guess this is kind of my four week notice. Thank you all for taking the time to comment
