Personally, I think this is unlikely, as the current range was only launched in September (although I have been known to be wrong!). Also, £159 is actually pretty good value for an 80gb iPod, in comparison to the prices of previous models.
I'd go for John Lewis, as I believe they have a free extended warranty.
Very happy with my 80gb Classic, now that they have updated the software - it was very slow initially, until they bothered to get rid of the bugs.0 -

like I said on another thread:
there is a load of threads left on Grabbit that are totally inappropriate and in the incorrect place nowadays and it seems there is no board guide or moderator even bothering to move them for days and days, if at all. Grabbit is getting cluttered with inappropriate threads time and time again.
This thread was started on 3rd January. All three of the board guides have been online since but none of them have moved it to the correct place and away from Grabbit
I can remember when Grabbit was the tidiest and absolute best board on here with incorrect threads being moved (by the erstwhile and super efficient redfox) within minutes. Bring back redfox I say! Or at least get in some board guides who will bother to do the job that they are supposed to. Yes I know they are volunteers and have other things to do but frankly they shouldn't offer to do a job if they can't/won't/haven't got the time.
Flame away if you like, I've got a tough hide :rotfl:0 -
PC World will price match amazon @ £144 and then beat it by 10% of the difference so you could get it for £142.50 from PC world.
