Council taking us back..type should be straight forward?

I was a local authority carer...10 years ago were privatized..to a community integrated company..thankfully we kept tupe..council are bringing us back in house..I'm assuming the tupe process back..should be straightforward...colleagues  on company contracts..should get increase in wages. Good for them..but will surely increase costs for council..which is surprising...as long as it doesn't affect my pension.  Terms and conditions

    is there a question?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

You'd need to check with your current employer and the council. If you've been a member of the Local Government Pension Scheme for the last 10 years, then I'd expect your membership of that to continue uninterrupted.

If on the other hand you've been in some other pension scheme for the last 10 years, you will keep whatever benefits you have built up in that and have the chance to join the LGPS (and the option of transferring in your pension benefits from the last 10 years).
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

I think it's one of those happy occasions where everything should happen more or less automatically if this is a TUPE transfer, although don't be afraid to ask questions at any stage of the process if you need clarification.
