Bonus paid, NI & Tax.

This is the 2nd time I have been paid a ‘bonus’. The first time I got cash but this time my boss had paid me this with my wages. How do I work out how much I’ve lost due to NI & Tax? The amount paid is £320, my tax code is 1277L and my gross pay was £2518.80.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Bung your figures into this calculator and see the difference

You haven't lost due to NI and Tax, you've paid what you owe just like everyone else with a job.1 -
If your previous pay was £320 less than this pay then check how much tax and NI was deducted last time compared to this time.0

If you are monthly paid, and get the same amount each month, the calculation is simple. Deduct the nett pay difference of the payslips from the stated amount of the bonus and that's your answer.0

What does your payslip say this time, and what did it say last time? Or were you bunged cash without it being recorded on your payslip?Signature removed for peace of mind2

your previous 'cash bonus' if not properly declared and the tax and NI paid through payroll demonstrates Tax Evasion by your employer and a failure to disclose income to HMRC by yourself, which can result in penality charges / fines and criminal convictions for both parties2
