Apple Watch and iPad - Where to buy

I’m looking to purchase a new Apple Watch and iPad.
My old devices are broke or now too old to trade in for any credit.
Ideally I’d like one of the newer iPads that use the USB-C connection.
I don’t necessarily need the newest version of both but struggle to find the older ones on sale anywhere reputable.
Any ideas where to get them at a reasonable price please?
I missed out on the cheaper watches on sale for £299, as I was waiting for my cash back to go through to exchange for vouchers but they’ve gone back up.

I’m just hoping there’s some more offers as id like to get this for August.

If wanting new I recommend John Lewis for the extra free warranty0

Would recommend John Lewis also. In their stores they also have a clearance section with customer returns/display items etc all with warranties. I managed to get an Apple Watch & iPad from their clearance section nothing wrong with either item both in perfect condition.1

My Apple watch was from the Currys refurb store on eBay. Grade A - pristine condition, no marks etc and 100% battery condition. Downside is you may lose some warranty - 6 weeks in my case.
My iPad I bought burying a trade in offer at Currys years ago but if you know a student they can get a discount through the Apple store.0 -
I would recommend the John Lewis in-store purchase route - visit the "clearance" bay and look at the open box products available. Good warranty, but you may not get exactly what you want the first week you visit as what they have in open box stock continually varies. We were in our local JL a couple of weeks back and they had iPADs and Apple Watches both available in the "clearance" bay.0
