This was a Finio or a Likely Loan I guess? They are usually very expensive, you could send Oakbrook an affordability complaint about the debt; if you win, they would have to remove interest from the debt and accept a payment arrangement.0

Are you sure your job won't allow a CCJ or DRO?
Normally you need to have a high level job in finance for this to happen.
Re the job - I do work in financial services and it's been a topic of discussion recently that certain clients won't allow you to work on their accounts if you have CCJs or DRO. We get regular financial checks done so not even something that could be brushed under the rug0 -
If you weren't in or didn't answer the door then they have nothing to say, they just push a letter through your letter box.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0

Have Moorcroft sent you details of the account into which to pay and your customer account number?
You should be able to log in on-line and pay them.
But you do need to do a proper SOA, so you know how much spare you actually have to pay towards debts and then make a pro rata payment towards this debt. That'll probably prevent legal action. If you get a bonus etc, you can always add a top up payment, it's harder to reduce the regular payment.
You decide what you want to pay, and don't ring Moorcroft.
If you want to share your SOA people may be able to help you. It's generally the case that they've missed items off their budget rather than been too generous to themselves.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
