Tried multiple browsers and email addresses on desktop and mobile, with VPN on and off.  Finally could only get it to accept my submission by switching off wifi and entering using mobile data.

It's a known issue, and has been happening for me with most sweepwidget comps since last year. Sites contacted have given very little help with the issue other than what's given in the error message.
