Number of Committee members

As no one else as put themselves forward to join the committee leaving just herself on the committee how can she legally resign? And who to?
Also can anyone recommend a company that can be employed to take over in place of the committee?
We have already searched the internet and contacted what appeared to be a number of suitable companies but failed to get any replies.

- A housing development consisting of 16 private properties 
- Built on freehold land
- The committee consists of residents only
- To oversee and pay for the likes of ground and road maintenance

sounds like you should be paying an appropriately Qualified and Specialised Lawyer for legal advice. 

also is there anythign in the Planning permission,   the deeds  of the properties  etc ? is  is this na unincorprioated  association  or  is this a company managing the leasehold / shared aspects of the development ?
