There a couple of petitions on the Downing St web site that caught my attention. You can see them at the Health,Well Being & Care section of our Gordy's website.
Go to http:/petitions.pm.gov.uk/list/open?cat=557.
There are lots there, but you might like specially to consider the one to honour the agreement that the Government signed at the EU summit at Laeken ratifying a proposal that all member states should endeavor to attain a level of 40% of the National Average wage as their basic state pension by 2007.
The deadline to sign up by is 26th February 2008.
Whilst one European country pays 100% of the national average wage, some pay 80% and others pay 50%.The U.K pays about 18%.This Government embraces all legislation coming out of Brussels,it is about time they honoured this one.
