Dental crown on NHS

Anyone got a dental crown done here recently on NHS and what was the cost?

Thanks for that, I did actually see that, but other google searches saw a figure like £300 plus talked about.

That's because if you're in England it is. £326 band 3 treatment

£326 something. Make sure you get everything else done that needs doing. I could kick myself. Had a temp filling that continually fell out. My dentist said it needed a crown. Dentist left practice. 6 months after a different tooth broke and I needed a crown. New dentist said temporary filling  was still OK. Had crown, 6 months later other tooth temp filling came out and I had to have another crown. So I paid twice. I still think they should have done both at same time.

Every bit of work on your teeth takes you a step closer to losing the tooth completely. So a good dentist will try to avoid interference as much as possible. Unfortunately at the same time, the UDA system also provides an incentive for dentists to spread out work so they can get payment for multiple courses of treatment.
