Santander
Hello everyone,
I’m currently facing a frustrating situation with my mortgage application at Santander. I applied on May 2nd and was initially offered £213,400. After providing additional documents due to a pay increase, I was told the maximum offer would be £310,300. However, I’ve recently received another update stating the offer is now £213,900.
I would appreciate any insights or advice you might have:
Has anyone else experienced similar issues with mortgage offers?
What steps did you take to resolve them?
Should I escalate my complaint or consider switching to another lender?

There's nothing to complain about. Santander have made you an offer. Either accept or look elsewhere.
We do not have visibility of your application nor the information that's visible to the underwriter's. Speculation is therefore utterly pointless.0
