So after receiving a letter bank in November 2024.
Today some 6/7 months on at 6am. I was served with a statutory demand.
My worry is and always has been my jointly owned house.
I'll feel terrible my partner will have to lose his home. He didn't create this i did . And I've since moved out.
Amy advice on steps from here greatly appreciated. I've already called HMRC today & made appointment with CAB.
Thank you

So it's HMRC that have issued the statutory demand?
How much do you owe?
If you cannot get this below 5k, then you need to see a solicitor with a view to offering a voluntary charge.
