On constant hold with DWP re pension contributions

Apologies if this is a repeat of a topic already discussed - I've searched and not found anything relevant.
I sent in a form requesting a callback for topping up contributions to my state pension (which I will qualify for in a few years). Two weeks ago, they called in a 1-hour slot when I didn't have my phone on me. I kept it with me constantly after that until I received a text to say they'd phoned me several times and failed to get through (my call log only says one missed call). I am to call them before 29/6/25.
However, on phoning the number on the text, I am kept on hold for hours. Still not got through. Any ideas?
