Yes, emsgirl has had 17k of debt written off, before any of them went to the Ombudsman. She will get more refunds in the next few months.

Your debts look more questionable than hers

    So

    1. Get your banking sorted

    2. Stop paying the nonpriority creditors

    3. Do affordability complaints everywhere you can

    4. Start to save an emergency fund

    5. Start to make payments when the defaults come in

So here is my first update.

This is going to be a super slow process but Quidmarket were fast getting back. The affordability complaint was successful and they dropped the amount I owe to £67. That is a huge relief.

Mrlender haven't responded to the complaint yet. They've frozen interest and allowed me to set up my own DMP with no need to contact them. I have offered £20 a month. Until they respond I'm happy to stick to this route.

Moneyboat on the other hand have told me I need to pay the money back and refused to budge on the interest. I said I will take this further, trying to call their bluff. They didn't respond initially and two days later now claiming to want to help asking me for reasons I'm missing payments, will i be able to make future payments, am I up-to-date on priority bills, etc to see if we can set up a payment plan. Do you think that is a good route or should I ignore and take the complain further?

Santander credit card have sent a letter permanently blocking my account and it's on the verge of a default.

No one else responding so far.

You can complain to Klarna, you just don`t have recourse to the FOS.

Klarna`s response to disputes is normally to put accounts on hold, they can do this numerous times and for up to 6 months at a time.

If affordability is an issue, they will write accounts off if you are persistent, but you must be persistent with them.

Hey, regarding Klarna, I would look to paying off with no issue a it's related to a course I've paid for and only on completion of payment will I receive the qualification.

Moneyboat won't get a response from me as they've claiming I have enough disposable income, despite being over 1700 in overdraft debt which isn't a disposable income. I've gone to the FOS for that.
