It's an article in the Daily Mail and is therefore, by definition, not true.12

Changes to the SS rules were mooted in various media ahead of the first Budget under the current Government and none came to pass.
Changes to the SS rules must be something that is a consideration for any Government preparing a Budget.
Anything in the media at present on this subject can only be speculation - if the media repeat it ahead of every Budget, eventually the rules will change, and that media outlet can run a "told you so" story saying how well informed they are.
There is a current thread (*) within the Benefits section showing how the current SS rues could (though probably rarely) result in extreme outcomes.
I really doubt whether anyone can comment on the question in the thread title "what are your thoughts on potential Government changes to salary sacrifice" without being political.

my thoughts are wait and see, or ask your MP if you think they pay any attention to individuals.
pointless to speculate on here and against the rules.

The fact that many have reported it does not make it true. There are very few proper journalists around now and most news media just regurgitate stories that have appeared elsewhere without fact checking. Welcome to the post-truth dystopia.sultan123 said:
