RAS said:I think AirB&B could be more demanding than you think.
The place needs to be professionally cleaned before occupiers move in and many won't like any sort of dog smell. It also needs a clear fridge, freezer and pantry plus cooking equipment designed for the largest party that could occupy plus a couple. And pristine bedding and linen for the entire group, probably times two to allow for hand overs.
I do think that you should look at taking a lodger though - £7500 tax free is not to be sniffed at.1 -
Unless you can do a decent job, I wouldn't advise a self trim. I had a go at cutting my sister's hair, it's surprisingly difficult to achieve a straight line....Statement of Affairs (SOA) link: https://www.lemonfool.co.uk/financecalculators/soa.phpFor free, non-judgemental debt advice, try: Stepchange or National Debtline. Beware fee charging companies with similar names.1

Check out "cutting your own bangs", American term for trimming your fringe. That should lead you to videos showing you how to drag your hair in to a ponytail near your crown and trim into an attractive layered look.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing2

Thanks RAS and kimwp. I did try the pony tail technique, wasn't terrible, a bit lop sided but just need a bit of practice. I have long curly hair, I think it hides the less than perfect chop. I wear it up most of the time and as long as I look presentable on Teams I'm not bothered!1
