Hi, next week I'm going from St. Pancras international to Canterbury. Went to the ticket office because online (nationalrailway& Trainline) I couldn't find out whether, besides my disability person railcard, I could use my (disability freedom pass). I suspected I couldn't, but the ticket office gave me a return tickets from boundary zone 6 to Canterbury. I specified where I wanted to travel from. He gave me the ticket timetable of the HS from st Pancras. Was he right? If not, what shall I do? Thanks.

Freedom Passes are not permitted on our highspeed services. They are also not valid for journeys to, from, or between Dunton Green, Shoreham (Kent), Eynsford, Otford, Bat & Ball, or Sevenoaks. From the Southeastern website, so it would seem no to the Freedom pass:eek::eek::eek: LBM 11/05/2010 - WE DID IT - DMP of £62000 paid off in 7 years:jDFD April20171

And now what should I do? Go back to the ticket office to say they were wrong?beckstar1975 said:Freedom Passes are not permitted on our highspeed services. Did you make it clear to the ticket office that you planned to travel on the high speed service, or could the individual have understood that you would travel on a stopping service?cisko65 said:Hi, next week I'm going from St. Pancras international to Canterbury. It is permitted to use the freedom pass on a journey that goes beyond zone 6 boundary up to the last stop served on the journey taken, and then to pay the top up fair for the remainder of the journey that is beyond that last stop.0 -
Thanks. I didn't use the name high speed as I didn't know it. I said I wanted to catch the train from st Pancras international to Canterbury.Grumpy_chap said:

I don't think that freedom pass can be used on every train. And that's why asked if I could use it.

I have the Oyster 60+ but can't use that on the high speed from St Pancras. I can apply my senior Railcard. Pretty sure that it's the same for the Freedom Pass.cisko65 said:

Thanks for your reply. Yes, you are right. I went to the ticket office the team manager told me that the disability railway card can be used but the freedom pass can't. So I changed the tickets.katejo said:
