I notice that, although you can claim for someone who has since died, claimants have to have been alive on 16th September 2016. We had joint bank accounts, and the Mastercard account was in my husband’s name. I had a card on the M/C account and when my husband died in November 2015 the account was transferred into my name. Presumably I won’t be eligible to claim?

You don't have to have been a Mastercard holder to claim.
