ETF's and Capital Gains/Income tax to non UK countries question.

Options
Hello, I am a UK resident who is new to investing, and also new to paying income tax/Capital Gains tax.
I've purchased into a Vanguard S&P 500 fund in a Stocks and Shares ISA and I'm considering investing in other world funds. Does anyone know for certain that holding stocks/shares in these funds will mean that countries where the companies are listed will or will not be expecting Income Tax/Capital gains tax, or any other tax (besides the withholding tax) from me because I have invested in this fund?

Thanks

Investing in such a fund would not change whether or not your worldwide income is taxable in the country in question. So it will depend on your circumstances beyond making this investment.

Correct, assuming you are are not a US citizen then no income or capital gains tax will be due on investments within an ISA, regardless of what funds you're actually holding. There may be some other charges such as stamp duty, PTM levy etc. but they should be clearly explained by your platform.
