Settlement before or after the last installment?

Options
Hi,
I'll close the mortgage on the 24th of June with a final overpayment.
I have the feeling that the settlement preview that I'm seeing isn't taking the last installment into account.

Is it better to ask it after the last installment?

Thanks

Also, generally how long does it take to remove the charge from the title deeds?

When we paid off our mortgage, the OH actually rang the mortgage provider (in our case, Halifax) and asked for a settlement figure. They gave him the figure, couldn't take payment over the phone so we logged into online banking and paid it.

Pretty sure we had notification of activity from Land Registry, which would have been removal of the charge, less than a week after we paid off the mortgage (but only because I monitor our address). We had a letter within a couple of weeks from Hfx saying mortgage was zero, but that didn't mention removal of charge from deeds.

So yes, I was right in being suspicious.
The settlement didn't keep the last regular installment into account, so I asked another one after it and the amounts came out lower.

Mission accomplished and mortgage replayed in full.

    Thanks
