Take to the skies in the world's most realistic Spitfire simulator that can be used for training new Spitfire pilots as well as giving fantastic flight experiences to the public. The simulator has three key components that make it unique and incredibly special. The fuselage has been constructed from approximately 50 per cent wartime parts meaning the airframe has, in part, fought in defence of our freedom. The fuselage is mounted with a 1.5m radius fibreglass dome that covers 220 degrees horizontally. When you look forward and up, left and right, all you see is the projected world around you.

The cockpit is indistinguishable from the real thing. The gauges are all original, with hidden modifications that allow computers to drive them. The detail is astounding and even ‘needle wobble’ has been emulated by a bespoke piece of software. All the controls and dials work exactly as they would in our aircraft in the hangar. A 60-minute slot in the Simulator, flying/airborne for approximately 50 minutes.
