Hard/soft searches for loans

Good afternoon mse forummers

Again I come seeking advice reagrding hard and soft searches on my credit file when looking for loans.

Can anyone reccommend some sites for soft searches as I am still in the research stage and do not want to affect my credit rating by doing too many hard searches!

Community bank/ credit union is my frontrunner at the moment 👍

thanks

A soft search basically just confirms your identity.  If you want something based on a lender's assessment of your credit worthiness then a hard search will be involved.
Tesco bank look like they have some good rates for personal loans

Credit rating is a pointless figure. Lenders never see it.

Lenders will be looking at your credit history & affordability. Although a lot of hard checks in a short period is not a good look & may lead to deeper checks.
