Mortgage

Hi. Has anyone tried CLS Money as a mortgage advisor? I am currently with CLS and waiting for them to confirm if I get accepted for a mortgage. The first lender declined to give us a mortgage, so CLS is trying a different lender. My worry is that CLS will not come back to me to confirm whether they can get me a mortgage or not, as I had a bad experience with Purple Bricks' mortgage advisor.
The CLS review seems very good, but I wonder if anyone here has tried them?

I have no first hand experience with CLS (for obvious reasons), but I do a lot of adverse myself and I have come across them before. I have never heard anything bad about them.
I think CLS would be a bit offended to hear their name being compared to purple bricksIm sure CLS will treat you much better than purplebricks will.

Oh, I hope CLS will not read my post😊 Honestly, I'm not comparing CLS with Purple Bricks, but I can't help but worry because of my previous experience. I have high debt, and my husband is on a debt management plan. So, I am apprehensive about applying for a mortgage as I have been turned down by two mortgage advisors.0

I have used CLS and whilst expensive, they got us our Mortgage and we are beyond thankful as for some reason we couldn't get one anywhere else through normal mortgage brokers. They are specialist and will help, don't worry it will all be ok1

Honestly, this month alone I have had 3 months discharged from bankruptcy, a £72,000 CCJ, 7 defaults (all different clients).
You tend to find a lot of larger firms (like purple bricks) are not interested in the complex cases as they have 100 easy ones lined up after you. The firms who specialise will probably already be narrowing down the options as they go through your credit history and by the end of the call have a good idea of rates/where it will go.
CLS have a good rep. I dont know them and they are technically my competition (albeit they are a lot bigger than we are), but I am still here saying they are by all accounts good. Dont worry. If you are worried give them a call, its not uncommon to be more apprehensive with your situation, I have sat until 7pm at night with people crying down the phone before now, then its happy tears once it all goes through.
Give your broker a call, they will reassure you. Thats part of the job in this part of the market.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
