Decathalon not delivering to certain NI Post codes

Options
I was trying to order an item from Decathalon and wasn't given option for home delivery.
Nearest store is about 100 miles away.
I emailed Decathalon CS to find out what the issue was and was told its due to restrictions by UK Government.
Although they seem to be able to deliver to some NI post codes

BT27,BT28,BT23,BT21,BT20

Very peculiar i thought, anyone know anything about this?

    Common with lots of companies.

I sell a lot of things I have purchased at a mis-price on Amazon to NI, as they don't ship there either.

My cousin lives in Belfast and will frequently order things to my address which I post out to him for similar reasons.

Quite a few articles on it if you have a quick Google, main reason is cost.

Amazon do ship to NI…for most things anyway.

It’s true that a lot of companies women’s ship to NI at all but that doesn’t explain why Decathlon will only ship to a very small part of NI. I suspect it’s a glitch as their website says they can deliver small items under 20kg to NI.

That's what i couldn't understand, why some postcodes and not others.Surely if it was UK Gov restrictions it would be all NI.
Initially i thought it was a glitch on the website, thats why i emailed Decathalon CS, they asked me for details of the item i was trying to order and address and they would check it out.
    This was the response....
None of those postcodes is actually even in belfast city!
