Barclays Re-Mortgage - How will I know if interest rates go down again before new rate starts?

I'm remortgaging with Barclays and can do it through the app. I need to pick a new rate by end of June and know that I can pick one now and if it goes down again before end of June I can cancel that rate and pick a new one but my question is how would I know the rates have gone down again? Once I've picked a rate on the app I assume I wont then be shown anymore rates I'm eligible for so where would I need to check to see if they've reduced them again before my new rate actually begins?

Look on their website at the remortgage rates
https://www.barclays.co.uk/content/dam/documents/personal/mortgages/CoreRangeCustomerRateSheet.pdf
They update this every time the rates change, date will be at the top.

Out of interest how far in advance did the app let you pick one?0

I was told by Halifax that after picking my rate I could just ring them up to check if there were any cheaper rates.1

Well it initially let me look 6 months in advance then it suddenly disappeared a week or so later and then re-appeared again at 3 months before as think they reduced the length of time you could lock in.la531983 said:Out of interest how far in advance did the app let you pick one?0 -
OK cheers. Mine ends 31st October 2025 and I cant yet, so suspect will have to wait a few more months then.0

I suspect this is a rate switch not a remortgage so the products you have linked to wouldn't apply as these are purchase and remortgage (new mortgage with new lender) options.la531983 said:Look on their website at the remortgage rates

I was working on the impression that the "remortgage" rates are for existing customers too. Maybe the OP can advise what rates are on display for her in the app and we can see if they match the remortgage rates here?kingstreet said:

In the intermediary site, Barclays has two lots of products, "Mortgage Rates" for purchases and remortgages to Barclays and "Reward Range" which are existing borrower retention products;-la531983 said:
