Thuka Shorty Beds

Do any of you MSEs have any knowledge of Thuka kids furniture? I am tempted by the Shorty mid-sleeper for my 2 1/2 year old (using it as a low bed first, then building it up to the mid-sleeper in a few years). Her bedroom is quite small, so the short bed sounds quite good for her, as does the prospect of having the space underneath the bed in a couple of years. She is not likely to have a massive growth spurt as both parents are on the short side too. I was wondering how long a "short" bed (of any brand) is likely to last her, and whether anyone has any good or bad comments about the Thuka products. It's certainly not a cheap option, but Thuka claims to be much sturdier than other cabin beds/mid-sleepers as their frames have a bigger diameter. I am, of course, trawling the internet for the cheapest prices, and intending to haggle with the local supplier if at all possible.
Any thoughts/comments gratefully received as always.
Many thanks
