I'm up and at them for another morning of invigilation. Only three more to go.After my exercise class yesterday I was hardly home when the chap who installs TV dishes arrived. We had arranged for him to come about two months ago when I noticed that my Freesat dish was extremely rusty and weatherworn - it's been up 10 years. Anyway, up he pops so my lunch was delayed by two hours. He's very thorough but also very slow, even in speech. By the time he left I was ravenous as don't eat breakfast. Poor chap, I was cursing him all ways but also happy that my dish won't fall off the wall with rust.I hope that all are well - hugs are being sent up.12

Morning all
Happy invigilating Gers - I didn’t have to do yesterday’s session as the student was absent so spent a few doing some admin before the afternoon exam. Just a couple of hours this morning to do.Started cleaning the inside windows yesterday so will do some more later - my shoulder limits how many I can do at a time, usually takes 3 sessions. We had rain last night - the garden was very happy! We also had some trees lowered by the National Grid yesterday as they were in the electricity cables - they look a bit odd at the moment but there’s so much more light in the house and garden.Take care all

Morning allLooks a beautiful day out there today.A day and a half left and our bathroom will be finished and I'll have the house to myself again. Going to do some more gardening today as it's looking calmer out there today. Little and often will be my mantra!Hope everyone has a good day.10

Good morning, it's not a bad morning.
Dh has his last radiotherapy session today, so we're pleased about that.
I started sorting out and tidying my card making stuff yesterday, and have a little pile of things that I don't want, I'll continue today.
Hope everyone is ok and has good days.
Take care folks.10 -

Morning all. Dull and cool here but it's meant to improve.
Today we are off to the Cotswolds for 3 days, basing ourselves at Stow on the Wold. Unfortunately I've woken up with a cold and my voice is very croaky. Will take some paracetamol before we go and fingers crossed it doesn't get too bad. The others have already packed but it won't take me long so we can get going soon.
Hugs to all.

Another lovely day by the looks of things it’s such nice weather we have been spoilt.
Three people coming today and they have requested a walk so we are going to a local nature reserve, there is a nice walk along the sea with a place at the end where we can have a picnic lunch before returning the same way, there is a place to get a cuppa afterwards too.
Dinner tonight will be spag bol dd is off today so she will probably cook, the wm is on so the washing can be hung out today, I need to have a hoover through before my people come.
We should hear this week about what is to happen re Rob the sw did a review with his mum the week before last and needs to complete the paperwork, I am really hoping that he gets to stay in his respite place, he is so happy there and has some freedom and people his own age, he is also having regular healthy meals and is clean and tidy, I have a bad feeling though that they will send him home where he has no life at all and just sits in the house all day while mum watches tv, with take away food every night and dirty clothes 😩
I hope Rosy is having a good time in Corfu x
Scarlett I hope the last session goes well for your DH xx
TA fingers crossed for good news re your friends ds xx
Have good days all and take care xx11 -

Morning All
Just popping on from work during my break - my time management in the mornings is getting worse!
Cloudy start this morning but the sun is now shining. It rained yesterday for a whole 30 seconds so I still have watering to do later today.
Hope Rob gets to stay where he is Ruby.
I was picking some pak choi from the allotment the other day and a fence post that was holding the netting down fell onto both my feet! Strange it didn't really hurt that much at the time but a couple of hours later I was in agony. My feet were sore yesterday but it seems to have eased off a bit today - good job I have some crocs to wear!
Getting nearer your holidays Izzy - had to laugh at your comment.
Hope everyone is recovering Snoozer.
Take care. XX10
