PE Social competition: Terms and Conditions

 

1.          The promoter is PizzaExpress, Building 01, Arc Uxbridge, Sanderson Road UB8 1D8 (“PizzaExpress/we/our/us”).

 

Entry

2.          The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom. Excludes employees (and their families) of PizzaExpress or any of their group companies, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the competition.

 

3.          By entering into this competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We may terminate your entry or any prize if you do not comply with any of these terms and conditions or are unlikely to do so.

 

4.          This competition will be open from Monday 19th May 2025 – 11:59pm Sunday 8th June 2025 inclusive. No entries will be permitted after this time. Entries are limited to one per social media account.

 

5.          To enter, the participant must:

a)     Follow @PizzaExpress on Instagram, like the sponsored post advertising the competition and tag another Dough Ball lover in the comments, who also follows @PizzaExpress

 

6.          There will be one (1) winner, who will be chosen at random from all eligible entries and will be contacted within 5 working days via direct message from @PizzaExpress.

 

Prize

7.          The winner will receive:

a)     One (1) £100 PizzaExpress gift card, valid until 24 months from the date of issue; or 24 months after the last redemption/top up. PizzaExpress gift cards may be redeemed at any PizzaExpress restaurant within the UK. Cannot be used for online orders or for orders made through our delivery partners Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats.

b)      Gold status on the PizzaExpress Club App for one year which includes Free Dough Balls whenever you spend more than £10. Valid for 12 months from date of redemption, after which your tier status will be set according to how many Pizza Stamps you have earned in the preceding 12 months. 8.          The prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No cash alternative is available. We reserve the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value if required.

 

9.          To redeem the prize, the winner must respond to our direct message within 7 days of being contacted and notified as the winner. Should the winner not be successfully contacted or reject/forfeit the prize, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and/or select another winner in accordance with these terms and conditions.

 

10.        Except where expressly provided, we accept no responsibility for any costs associated with or not specifically included with the prize.

 

11.        Valid proof of identification may be required. The prize will be administered in the name of the person making the submission. You are responsible for providing accurate details; we will not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate details provided.

 

General

12.        We reserve the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this competition in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside our reasonable control without liability.

 

13.        Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, we, and our associated companies and agents, exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from (i) any act or default of any third party supplier; (ii) circumstances which are beyond our reasonable control (iii) network, computer, and hardware or software failure of any kind, which may affect the sending, receipt or processing of entries; (iv) late, lost, altered, damaged, incomplete or misdirected entries (whether or not we receive them) due to any reason beyond our reasonable control; and (v) any tax liability you may incur.

 

14.        By entering the prize draw/competition , the winners acknowledge that (i) they may be required to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the competition and (ii) that we have unreserved and exclusive rights to use entries in any publicity materials subsequent to the competition without further consent or payment. We claim full and unreserved copyright to all competition entries without exception. We are not responsible for any posts which you may publish on any social media websites, applications or platforms and you confirm that such posts are not sponsored by us. This prize draw/competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Twitter (X).

 

15.        We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

 

16.        These terms and conditions, and any instructions from us, constitute the entire agreement between you and us relating to this competition. Any failure or delay by us in exercising or enforcing, or partial exercise or enforcement of, any right or provision of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

 

17.        Your personal data will be processed in accordance with data protection laws.  Your personal data may be shared with our partners and/or agents in order to administer the competition and/or the prize.
