Back in February or March on his ITV show Martin mentioned the above which was worth £256 a year and you could go back five years before April for £1000 ish by cheque.
It had to be done by post I filled form in and posted off middle of March anybody know how long it should take to get it sorted / paid.
Just to be clear this was transferring 10% from person earning below £12459 to person earning more than £12459

You can't transfer 10% of your tax code.

Assuming you are referring to Marriage Allowance then there are a few caveats about how much a refund will be, your spouse must not be a higher rate payer and they need to have paid tax of at least the same value as the Marriage Allowance tax credit is worth each tax year to get the full amount.

As you sent a paper form I would expect to have to wait a little bit longer.

Have you checked your Personal Tax Account to see what it shows for the progress of the application?

    Wild!

I’m sure there are ex-Revenue/HMRC in here who remember the days when one was hauled over the coals for having a post item more than one month old.

Over 5 months cannot be, by any stretch of the imagination, acceptable.

    10 day turnaround.

green post - amber post  and red post

But, post not dealt with within 10days was put aside to deal with amber and green

Amber became red after 10 days.

Red was dealt with if complaint received or. when it was decided from above to blitz it.

    The good bad old days
