Should I start paying now? Unsure.

Not sure if I should be starting to make payments yet on two of my credit cards ive not paid and was waiting for defaults.
Both with Newday they are Pulse and Marbles cards and both accounts have been terminated and I have passed the 180 days and saying they will default.
I still receive letters saying over my limit that’s it nothing else.
Neither of them are showing yet as defaulted on my transunion credit score. Pulse says LATE PAYMENT and has done for a while now and my Marbles used to say Late Payment but now says UP TO DATE. Which makes no sense. I’ve not paid anything so unsure why that change has happened.
I did submit an affordability complaint to the FOS about these cards beginning of April and they replied 23/4 to say they would now contact Newday for my records. So not sure if this change is due to that as not heard any more from FOS yet.
So do I need to contact them both to make any sort of payment plan yet now it ‘should’ have defaulted?
As I say there’s none showing yet when should be I’d have thought and I’ve had no contact from them or anything to say passed to debt collectors. I just wanted to make sure I start a plan when defaulted as that’s when I have to isn’t it so the they don’t give a CCJ etc? I just expected some contact from them saying it had defaulted telling me what to do. It’s all far too quiet for my liking lol. Worries me.

They WILL get in touch with you telling you that you've been defaulted but before that they have to notify you by post that you have 14 days to pay.
But as you are awaiting a response from FOS that would take precedence and you should certainly NOT be paying anything before that's resolved AND you've been defaulted.

You are paying this far more attention than it deserves, you will get a default notice in the post, eventually, then its just a question of waiting until someone writes again, either them, a debt collector, or if they sell it, the new owner, whatever happens, you will be written too.
