(And is putting me on a performance improvement plan).

Given your medical condition is your current role the right one ?  Your employer has to by law make reasonable adjustments. However there's a tipping point where your own work performance is impacting on your colleagues and the organisation as a whole.
The massive question is "What is a reasonable adjustment".  The employer may have a very different view of what is reasonable compared to the person wanting the adjustments.

    Indeed.

Even if the employer is obliged to make such adjustments (see my previous post) they may well be able to cite valid business reasons why employees need to be in the office at least two days a week.

However the employers decisions may require to stand up to scrutiny and be tested. It may not be good enough for the employer to simply impose their will and be done with the matter especially if potential disability considerations apply.

True, but that is only going to happen if the OP is dismissed and successfully claims unfair dismissal.

The OP might win, who knows? Certainly not you or me from the limited amount of information available.

As a general point, reasonable adjustments required by law don't go anything like as far as many fondly imagine. To their credit, many "good" employers go the extra mile in this regard but that tends to give a false impression of what is actually required.
