New Civil service flexible retirement
evergreen
From April next year my civil service employer is introducing 'flexible retirement'. From what I can understand you can draw your pension at 60 and also reduce your hours and carry on working as long as the total of pension + new salary is not more than your current salary. Does anyone know if this is right and when they say current salary is that full time equivilant salary if you are currently part time or your part time salary. Would appreciate any comments. Thanks.
