Affordability complaints?

Hi,
I look out a loan with lendable a few months back due to gambling issues (basically blew a lot of money and needed to cover the loss). I have a couple of creditors with arrangements to pay at the moment on my credit file and was wondering if it is worth raising a complaint about this with the lender?

Sorry about making an affordability complaint against lendable, as I shouldn’t have been given it as I cannot afford it and already have AP on my credit file with other lenders0

I've made a few based in Debt Camel's advice. It's quite common, maybe even normal, for creditors to reject the initial complaint. If they do then just escalate it to the FOS

Hi,
Is this ok as a template -I want to complain about irresponsible lending for my Lendable account number X. My date of birth is X. The email address I used for this account was X.I am making a complaint to you about irresponsible lending. You should never have given me this unaffordable loan. When I applied in April 2025, you should have checked my credit record and would have seen I had arrangements to pay with other creditors and that I was unable to afford the loan repaymentsI am asking for a refund of the interest and any charges I paid, plus statutory interest.I attach copies of my credit report from the time I applied for this loan
Do i just send them a full PDF of my credit report from TransUnion showing all credit agreements etc0 -
I wouldnt attach your credit report, the lender can look at that themselves if they want. But your bank statements 3 months before the loan was taken are good evidence about unaffordability,0
