FTB Mortgage Accepted - Due Diligence?

Evening all. We’re first time buyers I’m 41 and my partner is 40 and I’m currently in a near constant state of stress!

Had a mortgage in principle through Tembo, found a property, had an offer accepted and put the wheels in motion with Tembo to apply through HSBC.

We’ve gone through my self employed tax return documents that were requested by HSBC as well as some other documents and heard back from Tembo today who said…

The mortgage application has been approved and a mortgage offer document will be issued upon completion of the lender's standard Customer Due Diligence checks.

Is Due Diligence not what they’ve been doing all along or is this a final check before sending the offer? Anyone got any idea how long that might take? Not sure I can take another weekend of waiting 🤣
