Hi , long story short i got into money issues during covid after losing my job but been working through it getting back on top ,however i got a letter from a solicitor chasing me for a credit card debt of £ 8000 ish and taking me to court over it , 1st they had been in contact with me regarding it , they included a payment option which i filled out offering to pay £200 per month but they rejected it, they wanted £340 per month , i wrote back saying i can afford £200 for 6 months then could pay the £340 each month after that , they refused again and i got a court date
I appeared via video link on the court date and the judge ruled that my offer of £200 for 6 months then £340 was acceptable and passed it .
I thought that that was it sorted but have just seen a CCJ on my credit file for this ? is this correct even though i arranged a payment plan but it was them that kept refusing it before it was called to court
where do i stand

Yes, most people do not engage and get a 'judgement in default' that orders them to pay the whole amount immediately. What happens next is some form of enforcement action, most commonly bailiffs.
You got a judgement ordering you to pay in instalments. You can apply to 'vary' that judgement if it becomes unaffordable. No enforcement is possible while the instalments are paid.
If you want an instalment plan without a ccj, you would ask for a Tomlin Order. That keeps the process at one stage back from a ccj while instalments are being paid. But in your case it would have been difficult as you and the creditor did not agree on the instalments
