I am filling in my self assessment form and I need to fill in my pension contributions for the 2024/2025 tax year.
on ii, I can see the current year contributions but not the previous tax year.
I can see my transactions and I made a contribution on 6th March 2024 (so not relevant) but the tax relief was applied on 22nd May 2024, do I include this?

No you don't - It is the date of the net contribution that is relevant as to which tax year the entire contribution was made in.tribetown said:I am filling in my self assessment form and I need to fill in my pension contributions for the 2024/2025 tax year.

Is there nothing in your SIPP documents / document history?

There might be a better way. However on the app go to your wallet, then select your SIPP at the top. Run a transaction report and you can filter to previous tax year and select to just show your contributions.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!1

Thaks but I use the desktop version and in SIPP, Transactions, it is not possible to specify contributions.Kynthia said:There might be a better way. No,in "Profile, Document History, SIPP Documents" There is an annual benefit statement for 2023/2024 which was generated on 14 Jan 2025.LHW99 said:Is there nothing in your SIPP documents / document history?
Nothing for 2024/2025.If the 2023/2024 document was issued in January this year, it implies the 2024 / 2025 one will appear in January 2026?I admit, I tend to track deposits and tax refunds in my Excel spreadsheet (geek issue

Yes, you are correct, that is the conclusion I came to.LHW99 said:tribetown said:

On Vanguard you could see on the main SIPP page how much had been contributed in that tax year and one click for the previous tax year.
No problem, I can work it out now that I know not to include the tax relief (which was applied in 2024/2025) from the previous tax years net contribution.0
