*** Now Resolved *** Multiple problems with the forum today (13/05)

1) Notifications are not working

There are at least two notifications I should have received this morning.
The notification bell is not activated and the notifications are not even listed when I click on the bell.
(My notification settings are OK)

2) Gateway timeout when using search

I have been unable to use search at all today. The "Ray ID" shown above changes each time - I guess it includes a time stamp.

I anticipated from seeing @One-Eye's post that the were going to report extra smiley emojis. 😁

It's fine on my phone (usual menu) but massively grinning at me on the desktop. 

Is it my desktop or the site? 🤔

After a few instances of Vanilla being offline:



Search has now resumed working.
I don't know about notifications until I receive one (somebody could post on this thread to force the issue)

The Vanilla problem was a bit weird.

If I was logged in, I got the maintenance message.

If I opened a separate window and didn't log in, I could read the threads without any problems. But trying to log in from that window just timed out.

This includes one from 10:01 received 17:11 and one from 11:12 received 17:13

Is anyone else seeing strange things like some sub-forums frozen at a point in time ? eg Mobile Phones 

Also, apparently new posts on threads but they don't appear when you go into the post.
