Hi, I had a question about tax letter that I posted on Facebook forum . I blacked out name and address but missed NI number. Can one do something fraudulent with only that?

A NINo on it's own will not be of much use to scammers, but it's when it's added to other information that might be available on Facebook and elsewhere it can be used to make a credible (fraudulent) profile using your name and details for (eg) loan or credit purchase applications.
Just keep an eye on your (free) credit reports for any suspicious activity.1 -
Thank you
