Shampoo advice

I have thick, wavy, coloured hair, which gets greasy but dry on the ends. At the moment I'm suffering from a dry scalp - post menopausal (?) and I just can't find a shampoo that works in my hair. I have tried Faith in Nature, which tangles up my hair. Monday shampoo, my hair goes greasy the following day, even their clarifying shampoo does the same without putting conditioner in. Pantene shampoo, makes my dry scalp worse and takes the colour out quickly. I've spent so much money and time trying different SLS and SLS free shampoos to get something that works. Please can any one give me any advice. Thanks.

I've got fine straight hair, but Maria Nila head and hair heal fixed my itchy scalp - there's also one in her range (a co wash) for curly hair.
They do mini/travel sizes if you wanted to try it

If you have one that works for your scalp but not the lengths of your hair, you can try either a richer conditioner for your lengths/ends, and/or doing conditiong-wash-condition (put conditioner on the lengths, shampoo your scalp/roots, rinse, then condition the lengths again). It's not particularly money-saving but it can be cheaper than trying lots of products in the quest to find one your scalp and lengths like.
My own searches for shampoo were all a few years ago so I don't really know what's currently on the market now. My Mum has a dry post-menopausal scalp and likes SBC Propolis shampoo (and conditioner), which aren't the cheapest but small sizes can be obtained cheaper than new e.g. from eBay and Vinted.
I have a greasy but sensitive scalp (and I don't use the SBC because my hair holding onto the scent of honey would drive me bonkers) and the only thing I have found that doesn't dry it out with regular use is FemFresh. Not a shampoo, but it is the right pH for hair and scalp! And then obviously with that you'd use whatever conditioner your hair likes.0 -
I started using a brand called Nioxin. It comes in various types, the one I use is for natural hair that is thinning. It is one of the best shampoos I’ve ever used which is a lot over 72 years
It isn’t the cheapest but I only need a small amount as it is very rich so a bottle lasts a long time. While massaging it through my hair it feels like velvet. I asked my hairdresser if she had come across it and was surprised to hear she used it herself.0 -
I'm the same in terms of sensitive scalp but gets greasy very quickly. Having to wash daily. Have tried the Nioxin system before for hair loss
Currently using a cheap alternative to olaplex which I found in Saver which is working well. Shampoo just the scalp twice letting the soap wash through to the ends, then condition only the ends up to the nape of the neck but don't touch the scalp with your conditioner. Leave conditioner on the ends for 5 mins before washing out.
If my scalp feels flaky IL use head and shoulders original for first wash this for second then condition.
Currently washing every 2 days with this method
